A receiving blanket made out of a cotton fabric on top and a fleece on bottom
burp cloths with a cotton fabric on front and terry cloth on the bottom.
You could also use these projects if you're like me and someone you love is preggo. My small group leader, Janet is the recipient of these baby shower gifts. She's an architect and incredibly modern in her style. Her and her husband, Joel, decided not to find out the gender of their baby. She also had to register for a lot of "boring" (these are words out of her mouth) baby items because she couldn't find anything in her favorite colors: black and chartreuse. So, I decided to do my best to find some gender neutral fabric in the colors that she loves. Hopefully, she likes these gifts as much as I am excited to give them to her! These were both SUPER easy to make and I can't wait to make more of them!!! If you're interested in making the receiving blanket, head here to my one of my new favorite blogs, Sew 4 Home.
If you're interested in making the burp cloths, Sew 4 Home has this as well if you go here.
I'll keep you posted on others of these that I make as well! It was super easy and a lot of fun, and now that I've made 1 batch of each, I know I can make others...YOU CAN TOO!!!
