D.C. was a success! I had a fabulous time and am sad that it is over! I also had so much fun in Lexington! I got to see a lot of friends that I hadn't seen in a long time AND I got to eat at 2 of my favorite restaurants...I'd say that it was one successful week :).
Tonight Stephen and I are going to go on a "date" (which really just means we're going to go out to dinner). My friend Jenna from Lexington is in Chicago this weekend and we're going to have a mini reunion with some of our friends that we served at a Young Life camp with (Castaway, holla!) in July of 2005. It feels like it was yesterday...crazy that it was almost 5 years ago!!! We'll spend our Saturday running errands and spending time with these Young Life friends :).
I'm SUPER excited because I have my sewing class on Monday night. I suspect that after I've completed it that I'll be able to make all sorts of drapes, pillows, gifts and slipcovers (a girl can dream, right?)!
Have a relaxing weekend!!!
